VIII LATIN AMERICAN AND CARIBBEAN SEMINAR OF THE SÃO JOSÉ FAMILY

The VIII Latin American and Caribbean Seminar began on January 6th in Cochabamba, Bolivia, with 84 participants, including 49 sisters and 35 laypeople from the Saint Joseph family. Representatives from 11 countries and 12 congregations came together for this meaningful gathering.

Bolivia warmly welcomed the participants with vibrant colors, traditional dances, handmade wreaths, and locally crafted bags, reflecting the country's rich cultural heritage. Argentina brought an atmosphere of joy to the event, introducing a creative musical activity that allowed participants to connect and learn more about one another.

The seminar's discussions focused on caring for our common home, fostering awareness of current realities, and exploring proposals for change. Elton Bozzetto, the facilitator for the day, guided reflections on these themes.

SEMINAR OPENING NEW POSSIBILITIES

Juan Carlos Nuñez, a member of the Jubilee Foundation, contributed further with a presentation on "The Challenges of the Current Global Situation." His talk encouraged attendees to reflect on the signs of hope and the fears or challenges they face in today’s evolving context, both individually and as a community.

The seminar expanded perspectives and opened doors to new possibilities for transformation. Participants explored actionable solutions aligned with the mission of the Saint Joseph family. The day's events culminated in a celebratory atmosphere, with music and dance bringing participants together in unity and joy.
