St. Joseph’s Convent Senior Secondary School, Ratlam (Central India) celebrated the Feast of St. Joseph with a heartfelt gathering marked by reverence, joy, and a strong sense of community. Organized especially for staff members and their families, the event created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that beautifully reflected the school’s values of unity, gratitude, and shared belonging. The campus came alive with vibrant colours, soft lights, and thoughtful décor, complemented by lush plants that added serenity to the evening. Principal Sr. Nidhi, Manager Sr. Anice, Primary In‑charge Sr. Flora, and the other sisters warmly welcomed each family with smiles and personal blessings.
Prayer, Reflection, and Shared Inspiration
The celebration began with a solemn prayer service invoking God’s blessings and honoring St. Joseph, the school’s patron, setting a peaceful and reflective tone for the evening. In her address, Sr. Nidhi highlighted St. Joseph’s virtues—humility, dedication, and silent service—encouraging everyone to embody these values in their daily lives. She also shared personal experiences of St. Joseph’s blessings in her own life and within the school community. A specially prepared video presentation deepened the audience’s appreciation of St. Joseph’s life and legacy, after which the programme shifted to a joyful mood with the lively game “Freeze the Fun,” filling the gathering with laughter and strengthening family bonds.
Voices of Gratitude and Jubilee Blessings
One of the most touching moments came from former students who returned to share their memories. Mr. Yogendra Singh Rathore, spouse of staff member Mrs. Urmila, expressed, “This gathering gave me a chance to know how blessed my wife is to be a part of this institution.”
Ishika Bhandari, a UPSC aspirant and daughter of staff member Mrs. Heena Bhandari, added, “I am thankful to Mom who asked me to come along. It revived all the beautiful memories I had with school.”
As part of the ongoing celebration—and in honour of the school’s Platinum Jubilee year—each family received a special gift as a token of love and appreciation, a gesture warmly and gratefully received by all. Speaking on behalf of the families, Mr. Dashottar delivered a sincere vote of thanks, expressing deep appreciation for the sisters’ dedication and the care invested in organizing such a meaningful and memorable event.
Music, Fellowship, and a Joyful Conclusion
The evening drew to a joyful close with Sisters Ms. Namrata Masih and Ms. Maria Peters leading the gathering in a soulful hymn of thanksgiving, adding a gentle spiritual resonance to the celebration. Guests then enjoyed snacks followed by a delightful dinner, accompanied by a lively music gala led by Music Teacher Mr. Jeetendra and talented staff singers, whose performances created a festive and engaging atmosphere. In her concluding remarks, Sr. Nidhi expressed heartfelt gratitude to all families for their presence and cooperation, offering warm blessings and good wishes for continued happiness.
