TIME OF CREATION - BRAZIL

On September 21st, we had a special afternoon, marked by a walk in union with our planet. We had the participation of the Laity of the Small Project, catechists and Sisters of St. Joseph.

We began our meeting in the courtyard of the sisters' house, where we planted, prayed and sang, starting a moment of ecological spirituality. We reflected on the importance of taking care of nature and the responsibility we have in preserving our home, respecting human life, promoting recycling and emphasizing the importance of reforestation and reducing water waste.

During the walk, we asked God for forgiveness for deforestation and the lack of sensitivity and justice, while praising the generosity of nature, which offers us food and sustenance. When we arrived at the field, we planted some trees, listening to the cries of the Earth and the creatures crying out for help.

We ended the meeting in the backyard of Ilda's house, a laywoman of the small project, sowing vegetables and distributing strawberry plants so that everyone could grow in their home. The afternoon culminated in a delicious get-together, where we shared laughter and farewells. Together, we remain firm in our commitment to take care of our planet!
