Spiritual Retreat of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Chambéry
January 3-9 in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia
In the first days of this new year, from January 3-9, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Chambéry will gather for a spiritual retreat in the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, at the invitation of two Carmelite priests.
This retreat is a sacred opportunity to quiet the heart, reconnect with life's journey, and allow oneself to be enriched by the new energy that springs from prayer, fraternity, and a deep exploration of the Spirit. Amidst daily tasks and community commitments, the retreat becomes a privileged space to return to the source, renew hope, and strengthen the shared mission.
The spirituality of the Sisters of St. Joseph teaches us that fruitful silence opens the way to trust and surrender. Thus, these days are lived as an intimate encounter with God, who invites each person to contemplate, give thanks, and prepare anew to serve life and the years in which they find themselves most vulnerable.
We invite those who feel close to our dear sister to accompany this moment of retreat with their prayers. The power of community mobilization sustains and encourages, creating an invisible bond of community that unites us in one spirit.
