Based on the document sent by the Congregation’s JPIC Commission, our communities sought ways to be in communion with the entire cause of combating human trafficking.
Throughout the celebrations, from the 4th to the 10th, we remembered and prayed for the situation and victims of a continent. On the 10th, in a more intense moment of remembrance and sharing, we revisited all the content proposed in the document. It was a very rich and meaningful moment, in which each sister wrote on a “footprint” (empreinte) her prayer, her commitment to action, or her plea regarding concrete situations that are also present in our region/country.
We thank the JPIC team for always providing us with meaningful, prayerful, and thought-provoking materials.
