Saint Joseph, be with us as we begin the great journey of our time...

On March 16, PRMs from Europe/United States met via zoom for a common prayer on Saint Joseph, prepared and led by sisters from the USA and Ireland. Almost all the sisters took part in this prayer meeting.

« Saint Joseph, the one who is deeply committed to the adventure of life, always ready for the journey, always attentive, always “yes”.  Joseph who dreams and lives the dream, who follows his heart heart in Love, in Mystery. », was the opening prayer of the evening.

In this prayer, we were invited to reflect on some of the virtues of our Saint Parton, the wording of the question after each virtue was very appropriate and there was enough of time for silent reflection and meditation. Each PMR was given a part to read, neither language nor communication was an obstacle. All were able to experience the blessings of Saint Joseph on each of us. We were very privileged to have this time of grace to pray for one self and to pray for our suffering  humanity.

This platform made us feel “the spirit of unity and belonging to an international Congregation”. We were delighted to see so many sisters from different countries, and to hear them praying in different languages.

We conclded the prayer service with this refrain to Saint Joseph :

Husband of Mary, father of Jesus,

Joseph beloved of God.

Lover of goodness, dreamer of dreams,

Humble but chosen by God.

Thanks to the preparatory committee who, through this prayer service, led us to greater devotion and love for Saint Joseph. Special thanks to the Europe/USA core group for their wonderful initiative and for providing us with this type of gathering.
