“TO BE MESSENGERS OF HOPE AND LOVE”

We, the four first professed sisters of Tanmaya Province, India, feel truly blessed, chosen by God, and set apart for Him. The theme for our First Profession is “To be messengers of hope and love.”

On May 31st, a red-letter day in our lives, we pledged our loyalty and love to the Lord. It was indeed a grace-filled and unforgettable day, leaving an indelible mark on our lives. The day commenced with a creative prayer service that energized and strengthened our 'Yes' to the Lord. The Chapel and hall were adorned with splendid decorations, and the blessings and prayers of the assembled fathers and sisters spiritually boosted us, giving us glimpses of the heavenly realm.

Our First Profession was solemnized by Most Rev. Archbishop Leo Cornelio, Emeritus, who inspired us to be messengers of hope and carriers of love, first to our communities and then to the people around us. In our journey of life, we are called to be like Mother Mary, a beacon of hope to all generations. We were filled with courage to take our first step in religious life, supported by the prayers and love of the assembled fathers and sisters.

OUR HEARTS RESONATE WITH DEEP JOY

It was a heavenly moment when we received and lovingly kissed the cross, a symbol of Christ's immense love for His beloved spouses. We proudly wore this symbol around our necks, signifying that we belong to Him, and He belongs to us until death and into eternal life.

We also felt a sense of pride as we transitioned from 'Miss' to 'Sister.' Along with this change came a strong reminder of what the Lord and the world expect from a sister.

Adding to the joy of our First Profession was the celebration of Sr. Saumya's Silver Jubilee. Sharing this milestone with her made the day even more special. Sr. Saumya's 25 years of dedicated service and unwavering faith are a testament to the life we aspire to lead.

As we participated in the Eucharist, our hearts were filled with a fiery zeal to continue our divine connection with God. We surrendered ourselves to Him, recognizing His immense and unwavering love and grace. Our hearts resonate with deep joy as we embrace Christ as our Divine Spouse.
