PROVOKING TALK ON "PILGRIMS OF HOPE" FOR THE FEAST OF ST. JOSEPH
On the first day of the Triduum, in celebration of the Feast of St. Joseph, our great patron saint, the Western Region of Tanmaya Province organized an insightful and inspiring talk on "Pilgrims of Hope." The session was led by Sr. Francis Pauline from the Sisters of St. Joseph of Lyons, serving as the resource person for the day.
A total of 25 sisters from six different communities participated in this enriching recollection session.
Drawing inspiration from Pope Francis’ words, "As religious, we must fan the flame of hope," Sr. Francis Pauline explored the meaning and purpose of hope. She described it as a sacred journey through life’s challenges, emphasizing that staying rooted in Christ empowers us to overcome obstacles.
TO CULTIVATE AND SUSTAIN HOPE, SHE SUGGESTED:
Motivating oneself and others; Setting goals and maintaining a positive mindset; Strengthening both physical and mental well-being; Bringing joy into everyday life; Nurturing healthy relationships; Embracing humanity with compassion; Learning from the past and moving forward; Welcoming new opportunities; Healing oneself and others; Overcoming fear and supporting those in need
The talk was well-received, with attendees appreciating its simplicity, practicality, and effectiveness in guiding them on their spiritual journey.
