Annual Exhibition 2025 – Iconic Display of Brilliance

1st, Nov.2025, St. Joseph’s Convent Sr. Sec. School, Ratlam organised its much-awaited Annual Exhibition – Mostra – An Iconic Display of Brilliance. with great enthusiasm and creativity, based on the theme of the current session, Be the Voice and Vessel of Hope. The event showcased the artistic brilliance, scientific temper, and innovative spirit of students from classes Nursery to XII. The exhibition was inaugurated by the honorable chief guest, Dr. Shalini Shrivastava, ADM, Ratlam, who appreciated the students’ dedication and teamwork.

 

The corridors came alive with a vibrant display of the exhibits made by students of different high school students. The art pieces of Lippan art, glass painting, pot decoration, jewellery designs, Candle making, Resin art, Embroidery, and Crochet work, reflected the students’ artistic skills and imagination. The craft zone also featured an impressive range of activities such as paper craft, origami, 3D mask making, paper bag making, tie and dye, block printing, nail art, bookmark making, and terracotta designs. Each display reflected the imagination and skill of the young artists, leaving visitors truly impressed.

 

 

The tiny tots from pre- primary section and budding artists of primary section also filled the area with the hues of their elegant artistry. Their aesthetic display of colorful decorations of pooja thali, serving tray, vases, bangles, paper plates, candles, paper bouquet and basket added a charm to the art gallery. The bottle art, grain art, clay art, thumb painting art, and designs with tissue paper, pencil peel, kites, ear buds, buttons and leaves gave a beautiful message that art is everywhere and in everything.

 

The conceptual and dynamic Science, Mathematics, Social Science and AI Models section attracted great attention as students demonstrated their understanding of modern technology and the subject- specific concepts through innovative projects.

 

An added attraction at Mostra this year was the Selfie Corners, creatively designed by students of classes IX-XII with vibrant backdrops and art props, where students and visitors captured joyful memories. The Parents’ Art Corner displayed the enthusiastic art work of parents, grand parents that showcased their artistic flair and engagement in creative bonding with their children in school activities. The corner also displayed the results of all the TRIO (Parents/ Grandparents/children) competition winners held under the innovative concept of contests in view of SJC Platinum Jubilee.  

 

A special highlight was the Health Check-up Zone, where teachers, parents, and students availed free BP, blood sugar, and BMI tests conducted by Science students under the guidance and supervision of the science department. This thoughtful addition promoted awareness about fitness and well-being, making Mostra not just a celebration of creativity but also of holistic development.

 

An open stage entertainment zone proved out to be another trend-setting activity reflecting out- of- the- box thinking of SJC. The open stage resonated with energy as students from classes Nursery to XII presented variety of dances, melodious songs, instrumental band performances, Poetry Recitation, puppetry show, Live advertisements and Stand up Comedy capturing the rich versatility of students art. The Yoga presentation by students highlighted the importance of mindfulness and physical well-being.

 

Each item that was presented and each piece that was on display was the part of the competition under different categories and age groups made MOSTRA a unique, novel and a dynamic event reflecting the forward – thinking and the mission of the school management in making each child a gift of God and a pride to mankind.

Adding flavour to the event, a Food Court set up in the open ground area offered a variety of delicious dishes and refreshments, becoming a major attraction for visitors.

 

Overall, with God’s blessings, Mostra proved to be a perfect blend of art, culture, science, and creativity. It provided an enriching platform for students to exhibit their talents, learn through collaboration, and celebrate the joy of creation. The event concluded with words of appreciation for all participants, by our respected guests making it a memorable day for the entire school community.
