It was certainly a different experience - the first face-to-face meeting of the European-American network “after corona” on September 18, 2024. The meeting took place in Casaletto, thanks to the generous hospitality of our Italian province, prior to the meeting of the Extended Council in Nemi (September 19-30, 2024). It was not just a meeting - it was an encounter with sisters who are on a journey together. All the leadership teams of the network were physically present, with the exception of the sisters from Ireland. But Sisters Joan Margareth and Marian were able to participate in parts of the meeting thanks to Zoom technology.
The work in table groups was an excellent opportunity to get to know each other personally and to work on the matter at hand: to grow deeper into the unity of our network. Online prayer 2-3 times a year for all members of the network, support of missionary projects, ongoing activities in the Zoom groups and the work of the core group will facilitate the network's process of growth. Our future is a shared one - we trust that we will grow into the answer to the question of how and who the network will be in the future.
