Eco-Leadership and Innovation in Ministry
The Province Leadership Meet (PLM) was conducted in Tanmaya from May 2 to May 5 with 43 participants from various communities of Tanmaya Province, Bhopal, India.
As the world faces ecological crises, social disintegration, and spiritual thirst, a new model of leadership ie; Eco-leadership is on the horizon proposed by Sister Sreeja SND the resource person. This model focuses on communion, cooperation, and interdependence, calling for an ego-centric to eco-centric shift in leadership based on Cosmic Spirituality and Trinitarian Communion.
Citing Genesis 1:26, Sister set forth the relational dimension of creation and urged networking with interfaith allies, dismantling silos, and creating shared leadership. Valuing diversity and shunning exclusion, she set the challenge: "How are we training ourselves in the revolution of evolution?"
Drawing from Trinitarian principles, she highlighted solidarity, synodality, openness, mutual enrichment, and interrelationship. Images of mother tree talking to each other and the intelligence of nature highlighted creation's profound interrelatedness.
Eco-leaders, she indicated, need to:
· Embrace networks and shared authority
· Construct ethical, inclusive systems
· Nurture inner transformation
Participants explored personal symbols of leadership, weaving their mission and spiritual identity.
The session ended with a call to transformative leadership rooted in humility, collaboration, and love—a sacred calling for today's world.
Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Defining it as the mimicking of human intelligence, Mr. Kartik Goyal an expert in AI highlighted five key benefits of AI:
1. Saving Time
2. Increasing Efficiency
3. Improving Accuracy

5. Personalization
Tools such as Perplexity AI and Gamma AI assist in generating academic and visual material. Effective use of AI included providing clear instructions and simplifying intricate questions. Mr. Karthik Goyal also discussed ethical concerns in AI, and when applied ethically, can bring effective results.
Building synergy:
Coming together and sharing life and mission creates a ripple effect. The next two days were focused on building synergy around the life and mission of the province. Sr. Philo, our Provincial Superior, provided important information and recommendations. Financial matters were also discussed during this time.
On the last day, the sisters gathered in commission/ministry-wise meetings to share, evaluate, and explore new ways of enriching their ministries. Amidst the busy schedule, the sisters also found time for recreation, organized by Sr. Dorothy. The four-day gathering was highly interactive, enriching, and above all, a great learning experience for everyone.
