On December 7, 2024, an online meeting via Zoom platform was held with the 82 Sisters in the Temporary Profession of the Congregation. The main objective was to establish a process of connection and bonding with the sisters in the Temporary Sisters and to study together some elements that could help us become more aware of our vocation as consecrated women in the world.
The theme, Strengthening Bonds and the Sense of Belonging: Motivations; How New Technologies Affect the Life and Mission of the VRC, was explored. The advisor, Ana Reis, offered insightful contributions, especially when addressing the different types of bonds, the sense of belonging, and the importance of psychological aspects of fraternity and communal life in overcoming life’s adversities.
Ana posed two crucial questions to help us identify our attachment style or model:
Many questions were raised during the meeting. This first meeting left participants with a desire for learning more. We extend our gratitude to all who participated. Let us remain united, strengthening our bonds and deepening our sense of belonging to the Congregation.
