The Italian Province reflects on protection, migrants, and the future
From December 6 to 8, the Italian Province meets in Rome, where it is finalizing the implementation of the 2024 Extended Council. The assembly, attended by 31 sisters from all communities, focuses on three important areas: deepening the protection of minors and vulnerable persons, with a presentation of the path the Province and the Congregation are called to undertake; reflection on poverty and mission on the margins, enriched by the testimonies of people emerging from situations of social exclusion; and finally, discussion on the future of the works and the vitality of the Constitutions, with an online contribution by Sister Kelly Connors.
Beyond the content, these days offer the sisters the opportunity to meet, share experiences, strengthen fraternity, and revisit together what the Spirit is suggesting to the Province: an exercise in mutual listening, benevolence, and shared responsibility. These are precious days that renew the bond between the communities and revive the desire to serve with unity and hope.
