BRINGING HEARTS TOGETHER: COMMUNICATING COMMUNION AND MISSION 

“Communicating is going out of oneself to meet the other,” Pope Francis reminds us. Inspired by this vision, the International Communication Commission (ICC) has remained active and attentive to its mission of communicating the life and mission of the Congregation, accompanying events and missionary activities in our Provinces, Regions, and Missions.

To do so, the ICC has used various communication platforms, with special attention to digital networks. Throughout 2025, the ICC published and shared on the website and Facebook page important events and milestones such as celebrations, meetings, formation initiatives, social and educational activities, among others. In total, 70 posts were published on the website and reposted on Facebook, in addition to other shorter posts shared directly on that platform.

Six editions of the CSJournal were also published, offering reflections and shared experiences on the life and mission of our Congregation, thus contributing to formation and communion among Sisters and lay collaborators. The Zoom platform was widely used, especially by the various international commissions and the P/R/Ms. Although it is not possible to quantify the total number of meetings held, they were supported technically by the ICC.

A special highlight was the formation program for contact persons held in June, which focused on one of the most relevant topics of our time: Artificial Intelligence, and included the participation of Sisters and lay collaborators.

We also emphasized that each ICC member, within their respective PRMs, carried out various communication initiatives, including formation sessions for Sisters and lay collaborators, training programs, event coverage, and support for local initiatives.

All this mission was carried out in the hope of helping the Congregation remain informed, aware, and participative—sharing events and presenting to the world the “face” of our Congregation, marked by the charism of unity. In this way, we strengthen internal communion and draw the Congregation, the Church, and the world closer to our communities and to each person.

The ICC will continue its mission with the commitment to form and update its members and contact persons, keeping pace with new technologies and using communication tools appropriate to our time. In 2026, the above-mentioned initiatives will continue, along with the inclusion of a new member, Sr. Rosane Steffenon. A Congregational prayer service in honor of Saint Joseph is already scheduled for March 14, as well as an in-person meeting of the Commission members in September.
