On September 11 and 12, 2025, the 2nd Meeting with the Multipliers of the Formation and Charism Experience Program of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Chambéry was held in Curitiba (PR).
The event brought together 40 participants from the South, Southeast, Midwest, and Northeast regions of Brazil. The group is composed of lay representatives from schools, a hospital, social projects, care homes of the Sisters, and administrative sectors. Its purpose is to strengthen the common project of the Province and to multiply, in their mission fronts, the history, charism, and spirituality of the Congregation.
After the completion of the Welcome Stage in their localities, the meeting focused on deepening the Immersion Stage, a call to a more profound experience of mission and spirituality: “Put out into the deep” (cf. Lk 5:4).
Sr. Rosália Fávero, facilitator of the meeting, led the participants in a reflection inspired by the charismatic tradition of the Congregation of Saint Joseph of Chambéry, enlightened by the Word: “Father, may they all be one” (Jn 17:21). The mysteries of the Most Holy Trinity, the Incarnation, and the Eucharist were also deepened, with the aim of translating them into concrete attitudes in daily mission.
The program included remarkable moments such as: a pilgrimage through the Memory Room and the corridors of the São José Convent; the screening of the documentary “Mother Maria Teodora Voiron – A Story of Faith”; and a cultural evening with the sharing of traditional foods and regional performances.
These experiences contributed to the planning of projects and actions for the Immersion Stage, based on the six formative pillars of the program. The actions are expected to be implemented in 2026, in the various mission spaces of the Province.
The meeting concluded with the Eucharistic Celebration, marked by the blessing of candles and the sending forth of the Multipliers, symbolizing the renewed commitment to the mission and spirituality of the Sisters of Saint Joseph.
We express our deep gratitude: To the Provincial Council, for their support and trust; To the Sisters and collaborators of the Convent, for their generous welcome; To the Organizing Committee, for their dedication and commitment; And to all who accompanied this moment with their prayers and fraternal support.
May the fruits of this meeting multiply in our works and communities, strengthening the unity and mission we share!
