The tenth day of our General Chapter began with the Eucharistic celebration, animated by the Sisters of the Province of Brazil. It was sunny day; therefore, we could go out in the nature and enjoy the natural beauty of the surroundings of the Ad Gentes center.
DEEP CONNECTION WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT
Day by day, we have been moving forward in the experience of the 30th General chapter, and as the process for election started we remained in silence in order to listen to the whispering of the Holy Spirit and discern and choose the right person to lead our congregation in the coming years as Superior General.
For two days, all the delegates remained in deep silence and recollection praying to the Spirit of God. On this day God gave us a clear sign through the prophet Isaiah: "This is the way, follow it" (Is 30:21b).
WE DARE TO DREAM FOR THE FUTURE
We, auditors, remained in communion with the delegates, accompanying with prayer and deep gratitude for the opportunity to be in the Chapter. The fraternal welcome and acceptance has made it possible for us to share in this historic moment.
Together, we evaluated the journeys and shared experiences. We encouraged one another and dared to dream of the future. We made commitment to live our charism with greater enthusiasm and respond to the new calls.
