THE PLACE - Centro Ad Gentes
On November 15, 2021, the participants of the General Chapter 2021 began to arrive at Centro Ad Gentes, Nemi, Italy – a Conference and Retreat Centre, owned and operated by the Society of the Divine Word. This is the first time that our congregation is arranging a General Chapter at this centre.

Centro Ad Gentes is located in Nemi, a village in the Alban Hills of the Province of Rome, around 35 kilometres from the city of Rome. The centre, situated 600 meters above sea level, enjoys the unique comfort of a refreshing climate and a scenic view of the Nemi Lake.
With a facility to accommodate over hundred and thirty people it has a modern and efficient convention hall for 140 participants equipped with translation facility; three expandable session halls for groups; a main chapel for 150 persons, three small chapels and a meditation room; dining services that meet individual and group needs; internet access, white boards, audio-visual equipment, and sound systems; break rooms, serving coffee and tea.

ICC BEGUN THEIR WORK…
The members of the ICC, Sisters Navya, Eliana and Laveena have begun their job of preparing the place for the General Chapter that commences on November 24. The other sisters who have arrived from different countries are spending their days in quarantine enjoying the naturally beautiful ambience of the place with spacious, relaxing grounds and the natural surroundings of wooded paths providing ample opportunities to think, reflect and contemplate.
