The three-year war in Cabo Delgado/Mozambique Province has displaced more than 400,000 people. Villagers are forced to leave their homes. The northeastern African country has been the target of attacks by guerrilla groups, with people kidnapped and murdered, houses raided, villages destroyed and families forced to abandon their subsistence plantations. Public buildings and commerce are burned and destroyed.
The Sisters of St. Joseph who were on mission in this part of the country were kidnapped and forced to leave the country. "Cabo Delgado wants peace." This is the international campaign to help the people of Mozambique. The situation requires mobilization and international solidarity. Watch the video and post it to your contacts.
