Provincial Chapter 2021
We inform all the Sisters, the Associates, collaborators and friends, that we the Sisters of the Province of France-Belgium will have the Provincial Chapter of election from April 18 to May 2, 2021.
This chapter will be a little shorter than what we anticipated due to the health crisis that we face and also because we foresee a new session after the General Chapter which will be held to implement the decisions of the General Chapter. In the sessions of implementation after the General Chapter we will pursue to discuss and decide to trace the outlines for the action plan of the Province for the next three years.
The guiding theme for this Chapter will be:
“As a community, we remain connected to the “troubled” world with the creative courage of St. Joseph.”
We will live this theme in our prayer, sharing and rereading. The proposals for this Chapter are:
- Evaluation of the triennium
- Revision of the Civil Statute
- Election of the Provincial CouncilWe count on the support and prayer of all the Sisters and the Associates.
- There will be 29 sisters as deliberative members and one sister as audience (from China). Sr. Sally and two translators will accompany this process through ZOOM Platform.
We request your prayers and communion with us at this time of the Chapter which is special moment for the Congregation and the Church.
