Strengthening the ties of Communion

At the request of Sr. Katia Rejane Sassi, Provincial of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Chambery in Brazil I gave the input session to the Sisters of St. Joseph of Pinerolo for better knowledge and assimilation of our Constitutions as they are going to merge with our congregation.

On March 6, 13 and 20, 2021, we had virtual meeting for the study and better understanding of the Constitution. All the sisters from Bolivia and Manaus were present.At first the study was planned for the novices. Later they that thought it was important for everyone to have this opportunity, in order to merge with all their hearts under the guidance of the spirit that animates and governs.  

It was a very rich experience for me as I could have a better understanding of the Sister. It was a great opportunity for me to resume our entire journey of the process of updating our Constitution. We prayed together and had intense moments of interaction and communion.

The Sisters expressed themselves like this: “It was great to read understand for the first time; The aims are very interconnected and clear; This was the first step to get to know more and to get closer to the experience of merger; It allowed us to enter into the spirit and mission of the Congregation; It was a rich and precise study.”

I personally thank the Provincial Council for having given me this opportunity which brought back to me the experience of my formation as postulant and novice in 1980 and 1981, at the novitiate here in São João dos Patos / Maranhão and to resume the affective and effective ties among us.

God be praised, for the communion that is woven daily in our life.
