    Convocation to the Provincial Chapter

The Province of Nagpur, India is gearing up for its forthcoming Chapter of Business and Elections with the theme: “Incarnating Joy and Reconciling Love for Global Solidarity”. Chapter dates are from 28 Dec 2020 till 3 January 2021.

This   is a clarion call to renew one’s commitment to reach out in love and be a genuine presence in this broken, confused world, thus living our Charism of joyful communion & reconciling love in a way that is relevant today.  All are living out “Pandemic Experiences” these days, trying and willing to collaborate with others who are in the forefront serving and risking their lives. The chapter theme and its explanation says it all. It is in this framework, that we enflesh our theme.

It is about being open and attentive to the Holy Spirit in the midst of turmoil and a disturbed country. It is about the Magis, to live the Gospel values very radically, a love that reconciles, a love that is more compassionate, more merciful, a love that is all inclusive.

As Sisters of St. Joseph, we are called to be committed to seeking new ways of manifesting God’s Joy and Reconciling Love and be a presence to all within our culture and our global neighbourhood.

    Explanation of the Logo:

    - Love radiates life and expands into the entire universe bursting forth into various hues.

    - The heart symbolizes God’s Incarnational Love, present in the world.

    - The hand that cares and protects life depicts the hand of God, as also ours, called to nurture life in all its forms and expressions and to reach out in Reconciling Love.

    - The human figure (depicted in blue) in the centre of the LOGO represents the Global Solidarity that all individuals are called to experience.
