TIME TO MEET AND LISTEN TO THE BELOVED!

From 3^rd to 9^th September a group of 14 Sisters of St. Joseph had their annual retreat with the guidance of Friar Ladi Antoniazzi in Garibaldi. Retreat is a time of pure grace and encounter with the Lord. Time to silence body and soul to listen, understand, recognise, feel and perceive what the Lord wants from each one of us. We were invited from day one, to be silent and let ourselves be emptied of everything that hinders us and prevents us from listening clearly and attentively to the voice of Jesus and his will. As disciples, we set out on our journey, led by the action of the Holy Spirit, to receive the guidance of how we should position ourselves as Consecrated in Service to the Kingdom of God.

Believe and confirm everyone: I Am the Way, the Truth and the Life, and I will be with you until the end of time. The Holy Spirit will accompany me in all my endeavours. Go to meet the world that needs salt and light. The light is the Resurrected Christ. With authority announce to all who are weary and discouraged the joy and merciful love of God the Father and the good news of the Gospel: “Come to me, all you who are weary and oppressed, and I will give you rest, and learn from me, that I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Go to the lost sheep in my name, without fear, with courage, faith and joy of being consecrated.

WE LEFT WITH OUR TENT TO THE LAND OF MISSION

  Illuminated by the Holy Spirit, we reaffirmed the commitment as Consecrated and chosen by Jesus to continue to be Light in the world and live an ethical lifestyle, in  our thinking and acting, and being a sign of contradiction in society. We aim, dream and seek every day to live our Plan of Life and mission that we have assumed: Living Communion, Reconciliation and Unity, with God, among ourselves and with people. Making ourselves available to God and his will through our renunciation to better live the spirit of service and humility and be coherent in our teaching and living, overcoming the difficult moments that comes along the way. With Heart, ablaze, Feet on the Path, we renewed our Yes to God, with a grateful heart for all the blessings and wonders He has performed in our lives and especially in this most intense time of prayer and encounter with Him.

We left with our tent to the land of mission. We ask for the blessings of St. Joseph and the virgin Mary to be faithful and persevering in the mission that He entrusts to us. “Now reach out with a new zeal of the resurrected Jesus to continue to bring the Gospel of life to everyone.

“since I have trusted in your love, my heart rejoices for your help. May I sing to you for the good you have done for me!” (Ps 70)
