WITNESSING LOVE

The Province of Tanmaya, Bhopal, India, is seeing another milestone as it began its 3rd Provincial Chapter on October 03, 2022 with the inaugural liturgy. The celebrant, in his homily, said that the theme chosen for the Chapter - “Immersed in the spirit, connected with the world, Witnessing LOVE” is relevant for the present time. At the conclusion of the Eucharistic Celebration, Sr. Prabha Malayil, the Provincial Superior announced, "The chapter is open."

During the opening ceremony Sr. Dolores, our Superior General, blessed Sr. Prabha and the delegates with holy water. After prayerfully depicting the symbols of the logo, delegates with lit diyas (lamps) marched into the Chapter Hall accompanied by rhythmic steps.  

Sr. Prabha extended her warm welcome and presented a shawl to Sr. Dolores, our Superior General, who is also the Chapter Facilitator. Sr. Dolores said in her inaugural address, "I believe our congregation has a future filled with hope." She instructed us to listen with our hearts.

TOGETHER WE CAN

In the afternoon, the Province Leadership Team presented the Stewardship Report, followed by the Province Finance Report and the Formation Team Report. The Chapter Delegates were grateful to God for all the accomplishments.

Following day, October 04 - the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi -  The delegates gathered in their spiritual group for a reflective prayer followed by the Eucharistic Celebration. The theme "Together We Can" was the highlight of the day.

Sr. Frances Regis, the Chapter Co-ordinator, led the delegates to reflect and discuss on the orientation for life and mission. Finally, the day ended with rich experiences shared by the Province Leadership Team.
