AUGUST: A RICH MONTH DEDICATED TO PURSUITS AND CALLS …

It was no different in Beni, Bolivia, a week after the Youth Vocation Ministry meeting of the Apostolic Vicariate of Beni, in San Ramón, the first meeting of Youth Vocation Ministry was held at parish level. The meeting took place in Santa Maria Madalena Parish which is a rural community in "Nueva Calama", on August 26 and 27, 2022.

This community comprises of 76 families and many young people. More than 70 youth from different communities of countryside and Santa Maria Magdalena parish came for this meeting.

The motto of the meeting was "Young people weaving hope". We worked on the meaning of the Ministry of Vocational Youth in the Synodal, Basic, Missionary and Ecological dimensions. We delved deeper into the calls of the Bible, and our calls today, in the light of the encouraging words of Pope Francis to young people.

TOGETHER ASSUME THE COMMITMENT TO WALK IN UNITY

In order to encourage the young people in different communities, we included two-young people per community for a parish coordination team. The team will be in charge of animating, organizing groups of young people to walk together, in synodality, valuing the gifts of each one and promoting the participation of all in building the Civilization of Love.

The commitment they made together was: a generous YES, to live UNITY, PARTICIPATION, TRUTH, JUSTICE, FREEDOM, PEACE AND LOVE.
