PROVINCIAL CHAPTER – Tanmaya

The Third Provincial Chapter of Tanmaya Province of the sisters of St. Joseph of Chambery, has been scheduled for October 03 to 08, 2022. The Theme of the Chapter is in align with the General Chapter Theme, “Immersed in the Spirit, connected with the World, Witnessing LOVE.”

Explanation of the Logo:

The Provincial Chapter Logo invites us to reflect on the diversity in us, among us and around us, and in this diversity, we try to bring about communion by being immersed in the Spirit.

• The flame in the Logo indicates the enkindling of the fire of Love within.
• The heart expresses the witnessing of Love, which connects us to the multifariousness of the world that God loves so much.
• The six women who are dancing in the Logo symbolize the celebration of upholding the manifoldness of one another in the community and the world at large.

The preparation for the Chapter commenced from January 2022. To involve all the members of the province we are having the following:

- Evaluation of Life and Mission of the Province during the past 5 years (at personal and community levels)

- Three Ignatian Retreats to spiritually prepare the sisters for this great event.

- Five Regional Assemblies to enable maximum number of sisters to engage in the Chapter preparation and help formulate the Orientation for our future Life and Mission.

Our Chapter Preparatory Committee is meeting regularly to plan everything meticulously. We request our dear sisters for prayers and blessings.
