Chosen to Glow the World with God’s Spark of love

May 31, 2022 was an auspicious day for us Sisters of St. Joseph of Chambery, Tanmaya Province, India. Our Six Novices - Pinki Bhuriya, Anupriya Dungdung, Roselin Minz, Sangita Jate, Roshni Pankaj and Sushmita Kullu made their first profession, and four temporary professed sisters - Sagaya Rani Anthony Cruz, Jenifer Mary Gabriel, Sangeeta Bara and Ayesha Toppo made their final vows, respectively.

Most Rev. Dr. A. A. Sebastian Durairaj, SVD, Archbishop of Bhopal, presided over the Eucharistic Celebration. The benign presence of parents, siblings, relatives and well-wishers of our sisters and novices brightened the atmosphere.

On this special occasion, the Archbishop addressed people with his lively homily. He encouraged the novices and the sisters due for the final profession to face the challenges courageously with Christ and serve God’s people. Surrendering themselves entirely to the Lord, novices and sisters pronounced their vows of the Gospel Council. The entire gathering witnessed this event.

We all blessed and prayed for the new and finally professed sisters. The cake cutting ceremony and singing of congratulations followed. Finally, all joined for the agape.
