     PAKISTAN CELEBRATED WOMEN’S DAY

GENDER EQUALITY TODAY FOR A SUSTAINABLE TOMORROW

We Josephite family, in Pakistan celebrated Women’s Day (March, 8) with the women group, empowering, indicating woman as being an uplifting force to another woman.

A WORLD WHERE DIFFERENCE IS VALUED AND CELEBRATED

The focus of the group was to live the theme” Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow” "together we can forge women’s equality; collectively we can all Break the Bias. As a group of women we can together imagine a gender equal world, a world free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination. A world that is diverse, equitable and inclusive". (Prayer for Women's Day - JPIC)

Major problems of women and their voice in Pakistan:

    1. Domestic violence
    2. Honor killing
    3. Male domination and discriminations
    4. Various form of harassment
    5. Abused/Sexual abuse
    6. Girls are not saved at home

STAND WITH THE  HEADS  HIGH WITH DIGNITY

Today this International women's Day 2022 challenges us to take care of our being physically and psychologically above all our daughters and the women in our care young and old. It's our duty and responsibility to teach them to be transformed so they stand with their head high with dignity to deal with opposite gender and be the voice of voiceless.

Our presence in 21st era, as CSJ, we are women immersed in the spirit and connected to the world, we are meant and convinced to live the needs and signs of the time.

    Happy International women's Day 2022

    S. Sumaira CSJ. Pakistan
