GIVING OF THE CONSTITUTIONS

On February 28, 2022, we had a very life-giving and gratifying meeting. The Constitution of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Chambery was handed over to the former "Sisters of St. Joseph of Pinerolo" who are in Argentina in a beautiful synodal family atmosphere. Now, all these Sisters belong to the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Chambery - Province of Italy.

The presentation of the Constitution was conducted and animated by the Coordinating Team of the Bolivia Region via Zoom. The Sisters of the Italian Province namely: Sr. Clementina Copia, the Provincial Superior and her Councillors and the Sisters from other communities participated. It was a very heart-warming moment.

ATMOSPHERE OF TRUST, FRATERNAL LOVE AND UNITY

It was a beautiful event to know each other; who we are; where are our communities in Argentina and Bolivia and what are the ministries of each one and the communities. Our sharing created the bond of trust, fraternal love and unity.  

As Sisters of Saint Joseph, we are encouraged to be on a permanent search.  We are called to be open to the newness of the Spirit, for it is He who is able to generate and awaken in us missionary dreams and zeal to “launch out” to different missions. He also gives us the grace to be open to change, newness and creative fidelity to respond generously to the invitation to enlarge our hearts to be part of a big family and live the richness of diversity. 

COMPANIONS ON THE JOURNEY

We want to journey as experts of living Communion. We need to be testimony in our new way of being in Mission today, witnessing the Good News of God's Kingdom in the midst of our divided, needy, suffering and vulnerable world.

We are grateful to be part of family Sisters of St. Joseph of Chambery in Argentina. Its a milestone in the History of our congregation.

I conclude with the words of Pope Francis in "Fratelli Tutti" No. 8: " Let us dream, then, as a single HUMAN FAMILY, as fellow travellers sharing the same flesh, as children of the same earth which is our common home, each of us bringing the richness of his or her beliefs and convictions, each of us with his or her own voice, BROTHERS AND SISTERS ALL."
