REGIONAL GATHERING, REGION OF PAKISTAN CSJ, 25^TH-28^TH JANUARY, 2022

“COMMUNITY IMMERSED IN THE SPIRIT CONNECTED WITH THE WORLD.”(30THY GC-2021)

It was in early 2022 that, despite the pandemic, our Region gathered for the Regional Gathering in Lahore.

On 25^th January, the Assembly began with a prayer led by the Regional Coordinator Sr.Shakila; the Agenda including sharing of experiences and various other topics of the 30^th General Chapter whose theme was: “Community immersed in the Spirit connected with the world.”

The Assembly opened with the Inaugural address of Sr. Sally Hodgdon, quoting her words“Yes, we are already women immersed in the spirit and connected to the world.”Sr.Shakila allowed for time to view the   GC Logo and the various prayers, images used and how each speaks to us according to our reality.

BEING TRULY HUMAN IN THE COMMUNITY

  On 26^th January, the session began with Sr. Abida, a delegate at the 30^th GC-2021, who shared pertinent elements from the talk by S.Nicla Spezzation community- our roots in the spirit, called to be with Him. The value of fraternal love, and charism which we live, being truly human, in the community and what is most needed in our Relationships.

On 27^th, January Via zoom session by sr. Sally, God calls us to be more, and how we could be the More? By coming out of our comfort zones, we are to respond to the needs and signs of the time, as we are already women immersed in the spirit and connected to the world.  

BECOMING THE FACE FOR THE FACELESS, VOICE FOR THE VOICELESS

 On 28^th, January session was coordinated via Zoom by Sr.Philo & S.Dolores Lahr with region of Pakistan.

Region is very grateful to our dear sisters S. Sally, S. Philo and S. Dolores Lahr for their availability and shared energies. We are grateful to ICC too for making it possible to join zoom having face to face encounter.. That’s great blessings of modern technology to live oneness.

Region decided on how to implement the Calls of the 2021 General Chapter. To continue to live the MAGIS, especially in reaching out to the needy, becoming the face for the faceless, voice for the voiceless, in order to live the 30^th GC- call practically.
