FIRST RELIGIOUS PROFESSION OF SISTER FRANCELI

On September 25, 2021, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, in Indaiatuba/SP, a celebration of my First Religious Profession was held. Fr. Renato de Moura Petrocco presided over this harmonious and experiential celebration. Provincial Superior, Sister Kátia Rejane Sassi, Councilors namely: Maria da Glória Fernandes and Elisa de Fátima Zuanazzi attended this celebration in addition to several Sisters, friends and family.

Fr. Renato in his homily recalled the importance and the presence of Religious Life in the Church and compared it to a real jewel and the cross as a symbol of joy. He spoke about the work done by the Sisters of St. Joseph, together with the people, in Jardim Morada do Sol in Indaiatuba, where I am sent to continue my initial formation as Temporary Professed Sister.

It was truly a profound, prayerful and lived moment “HERE AND NOW “… Then the woman left her water jar and went back to the city. She said to the people, “Come and see a man who told me everything I have ever done!” (Jn 4: 28-29).

"I WOULD JUST LIKE TO THANK YOU"

Let us be enchanted by Master Jesus and continue our journey on this earth, knowing that we still have to "leave many jars" to fill ourselves ever more with the attitude of Jesus.

“I just want to thank the Triune God who continues to call to give a quality response to the calls of Jesus in this fragmented world and bring about communion which is our charism. I thank the Congregation of Sisters of St. Joseph of Chambery which accepted me and the entire Parish Community of Our Lady of Perpetual Help which helped me so much to have unique MOMENT with ease!”

Let us continue to pray for vocations and for more people to be enchanted by the person of Jesus Christ.

    Sr. Franceli de Lima Bernardes
