Final Reflection - Sister Marian Ambrosio

The opening of our Chapter was beautiful. But not just beautiful… You manifested feelings of belongingness, hope and openness, which are Three fundamental requirements for this journey.

At the end of this first session, I simply invite you to return to one of the central focuses proposed in the logo that will accompany the entire process, day after day.

    Immersed in the Spirit.

In the beginning of the session we reflected on roots of the Pine tree which goes deep into the fertile soil. The strength of the Pine tree comes from a deep immersion in good soil. The good land is us. We are so small, so incomplete...

Let's us allow ourselves to be touched by this session. Let our whole being be

    Immersed in the Spirit.

We will constantly return to this act of faith and trust in the Holy Spirit of God. He can transform this Chapter into a new Pentecost. With open hearts and minds, let us welcome one of the verses from the Acts of the Apostles, which narrate the Pentecost of the emerging community that will also serve as a mirror for us throughout the Chapter:

“When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place.  And suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. Divided tongues, as of fire, appeared among them, and a tongue rested on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them ability.” (At 2: 1-4).

Three words – NOISE, WIND, FIRE.

The noise wakes us up. The wind moves and Fire sets us on fire.

We know that the immersion in spirit demands that we allow ourselves to be: AWAKENED, MOVED AND SET ON FIRE BY GOD
