After Mass many of us went to the Vatican to see the Pope at St. Peters Square. St. Peters was crowded, but we were able to approach quite close to the Pope, when he passed us in his little open white car. That was magical. After this wonderful experience, we all spent time in the center of Rome, to shop for gifts, see different churches and just walk around and enjoy Rome.
Then it was time to gather again in our meeting room, Sister Sally had beautiful concluding words for all of us, summing up the session and thanking each one of us for saying yes to be a formator. Then it was time to give thanks to all the sisters and everyone who had made this session so valuable, the general team, the planning group, Sister Cristina, and all the sisters in Casaletto, the translators, the ICC… The concluding ceremony had different symbols, a light, a ribbon, feet, inviting all of us to remain connected to Jesus and to other formators in the group.
This session for Formators was a blessing for each one of us, a time to be strengthened and challenged as formators, but also giving each other support, an opportunity to share experiences and hope, and again to let the dream be alive.
