Discernment continues...
Sharing by Sr. Aili (Auditor)
Jesus asked the two disciples, what are you looking for? And he addresses the same question to me. Yes, what am I looking for?
I come from a small group of 30 sisters who all share the same culture and language. Meeting sisters from different cultures, nationalities and regions of the world here has broadened my horizons and led me to think and reflect. In the whole arrangement of ceremonies, prayers and sharing, I found an order where I saw everyone taking responsibility for their own work and connecting with each other. The fraternal community and welcoming atmosphere has led everyone to live a meaningful and productive life.
As an auditor, I am also immersed in the process. What a great grace that is! With much gratitude I have deepened my understanding of interculturality and been helped to approach different realities of fraternal life and mission. I recognize that the courage and passion of those who dedicate their lives to their mission are all marks of the Holy Spirit among us. The discernment process gathered us together to listen to the voice of God, united as one body. As the Pope said: “No one can face life in isolation.” We are a community of woman desiring to bring to life the dreams we hold.
