Meeting of Brazil/Bolivia Coordination Teams
 With the goal of, “Evaluating the past, reflecting on the present and planning for the future,” a meeting of 23 Sisters currently in the service of coordinating the life and mission of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Chambéry in Brazil and in Bolivia met in Curitiba, December 8 to 12.
Among the topics for reflection and to put into action were a review of the Extended Council proceedings and their repercussions in our areas, Initial and Ongoing Formation, the Communication Commission, the Missionary Fund, the Celebration of the 200 Years of Chambéry, the different calls to mission, and a letter from Sister Griselda, representative of the Sisters of Saint Joseph at the UN.
The meeting was also characterized by moments of sharing and contemplation of nature during a train ride from Curitiba to Paranaguá. The next meeting of Coordinators will be held in Lagoa Vermelha/RS, December 4 to 8, 2012.
The Coordination Teams pointed out that, “This year, 2012, we will have the great celebration of the 200 years of our journey as Sisters of Saint Joseph of Chambéry. May the missionary zeal of Sister Saint Jean Marcoux and all our predecessors animate our Life and Mission.”
