Chapter – A time to search, illuminate and give new meaning to our lives
 From November 12 to 15, 2011, the Sisters of the Province of São Paulo, Brazil met in Itu, to review the recent Enlarged Council meeting and to realize their first chapter session. The Chapter of Elections will be held June 22 to 24, 2012. Before the session, the Sisters reflected on the theme, “Chapter – A time to search, illuminate and give new meaning to our lives!” Our slogan was, “Rejoice with me, for I have found the lost coin!”
The Sisters were invited to look at our journey of the last few years through personal and collective recollection and to celebrate the life generated during this time. The work flowed normally, with group work, sharing and plenary sessions, guided by Sister Rosalia Fávero, of the North/Northeast Region, who conducted the proceedings with great wisdom and tranquility. Sister Gertrudes Salete Beal, Provincial of Caxias do Sul, was also present as Moderator of the Chapter.
The assembly also experienced a review of the recent Enlarged Council offered by Sisters Elenice Buoro and Elisabete Reis. They brought with them suggestions for animating the life and mission of the Province.
