Bomb blast very close to our convent

This morning (September 7, 2011) around 9:30 Quetta time, there was a bomb blast at a government building very close to our convent and school in Quetta. The sisters and students are frightened but okay.

The schools will be closed for a few days since more blasts are expected. Sister Catherine's grandnephew was seriously injured in the blast. Please pray for him and for all the people in Quetta.

Also, there was a bomb explosion in Delhi, India this morning and our sisters and their relatives are also safe.

Sister Sally Hodgdon (General Superior)
