Protest against Government Moves in India

The country of sages and great leaders is continuously witnessing violence, riots, curfews, and protests. Ever since, Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), National Population Register (NPR), and National Register of Citizens (NRC) have passed, young and old are on roads protesting against the decisions of the ruling party.

The Goa Alliance group also organized a protest march at Azad Maidan, Panjim, Goa, on 21st February 2020. Sisters of St. Joseph at Saligao, Goa, too marched in solidarity with fellow citizens. Over 8000 people from all walks of life joined in this protest march.

The crowd marched with slogans against CAA, NPR, and NRC, which the present government imposed on its citizens. The focus of this protest was to make common people aware of the impact of CAA, NPR, and NRC.
