    06.09.2020 | Praying as a Global Family

    (How today’s young minds see our Internationality and interconnectedness. Here is a short experience of Sr. Sagaya Rani. She belongs to Tanmaya Province, Bhopal / India. She pronounced her first vows in the year 2013 and now preparing herself for her final YES to the Lord.)

    It was an enriching experience to pray with the whole congregation as one family. I was excited to see all the sisters on the screen. With this excitement I actively took part in the prayer service conducted by the General Council. I could feel the presence of God and working of the Holy Spirit within us and in our congregation as we prayed for each country with specific needs. 

    We are grateful to our International Communication Commission that planned this prayer service and made this gathering possible through social media. Though we are far from each other physically but through the help of internet and media platforms we were connected spiritually. I do not know the names of most of the sisters whom I saw on the screen. But their image and sisterly love is engraved in my heart. I felt lucky to participate in the convoking of the General Chapter 2021.  I wish we could have many more prayer meetings like this because it brings a sense of belongingness and oneness with the whole congregation.
