04.20.2020 | Sisters of St. Joseph facing the Coronavirus Pandemic - Chembur - Nagpur/ India - Sharing 18

A ray of hope and light in these trying times

COVID 19 has crippled the world but we the Sisters of St. Joseph at Chembur have been working hard to reach out to the less fortunate   in these difficult times. There are several families who do not have food since they are unable to go to work on account of the lockdown. Many among them are daily wage workers /maids /drivers /plumbers /electricians etc.

We are constantly keeping in touch with some of these families and providing them the care packages that consists of food grains and other necessities.  So far, we were able to reach out 31 families.

As the cases of COVID-19 in Mumbai are on increase, and the lockdown is extended till the 3rd of May, we continue to lend our helping hand to those in need. We unite ourselves with the suffering humanity, interceding our Risen Christ to take charge over COVID-19.
