The second day started early. The two General Councils, Chambéry and Pinerolo met for a moment of prayer and sharing the Word of God. After this the group went to visit the communities ed in popular places of the cities near Pinerolo and in the outskirts of Pinerolo.
There are many different activities in which the sisters are engaged. We were very interested in the work they do with young people and couples in different phases and situations of their vocational journey.
Another activity is the program for young trainees, giving them the opportunity to have a preparation for entering the world of work. Enthusiasm is the trademark of the sisters and is no doubt contagious to those who come to them seeking support and accompaniment.
At the end of the day we dedicated time to conversation with the members of the General Council of Pinerolo, and visited another significant activity, titled Family House. This activity includes working with single mothers or those whose husbands are absent from daily life, as well as children with diverse needs, especially for affection and love.
The journey that the Sisters make with the associates is very interesting. The sharing of representatives from some groups has greatly enriched and challenged us to live our life even more consistently.
