August 12, 2019 was a red-letter day for the sisters of St. Joseph at Siolim, Goa who initiated 11 lay Associates who expressed their desire to belong to the Josephite Family. A meaningful prayer service was conducted by the sisters of the community which was followed by the self introduction of the participants and a game.

Sr. Ophelia Fernandes, the Provincial Superior threw light on the life of the sisters, history and its apostolates, through a PowerPoint presentation. Sister also explained the objectives and criteria of becoming a lay associate.

It was well appreciated and eagerness and enthusiasm was shown in the being one with the Josephite family in order to build God’s kingdom.
