    07.31.2019 | Investiture Ceremony at Asha Niketan School for the Deaf

     

    Wednesday, 24 July, Bhopal, India - Asha Niketan School for the Deaf, held Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2019-20 at Marian Hall, Asha Niketan Campus, Bhopal at 11:00 a.m. Mr. Pramod Pandey Inspector General (IG) of (The Central Reserve Police Force) CRPF was the Chief Guest of the occasion. He appreciated the hard work and effort of staff to guide and educate the deaf students and connect them to the mainstream of society.

    There was a lot of excitement among the student cabinet members as they were going to take up the responsibility of leading the school for this academic year. The chief Guest along with the Principal Sr. Sunanda and manager Sr. Prasanna pinned the badges, put the sashes on, and handed over the different house flags to the office bearers. He administered the oath ceremony and congratulated the office bearers on this occasion.

    S. Sunanda wished the student cabinet asking them to be good and exemplary to other students serving them well. A classical dance by the deaf students surprised the chief guest and the audience greatly. Even though the students of Asha Niketan are deaf they perform like any other normal students on the stage.

    This solemn ceremony was concluded with the National Anthem in the sign language.
