May 31, 2019 was a day of rejoicing and celebration for the sisters of Nirmala Province, India. Two sisters, Srs. Oliva Hora and Sarita Tirkey pronounced their Final “YES” and Seven Novices – Natalis, Anita, Poonam, Jacinta, Sara Mary, Asulya and Asinta pronounced their First “YES” to the Lord in Sneha Sadan, the Provincal House of Nirmala Province, Igatpuri, Maharashtra, India. 

The theme for the Liturgy was an apt one – ‘CHOSEN TO LOVE SENT TO PROCLAIM.’  The main celebrant, Most Rt. Rev.  Lourdes Daniel, Bishop of Nashik Diocese, India, in his homily encouraged the newly professed that they have been CHOSEN by God, there is no other option, but to proclaim and witness to Jesus. 

After the solemn ceremony, the sumptuous meal and the grand intercultural felicitation doubled the joy as the family members of the professed sisters greeted them according to their own culture.
