As on other days, the meeting began with a prayerful moment. Some phrases echoed in me, as, for example, Jeremiah 1:1ff. We were invited to bloom even in winter and to bloom in and with the "peripheries".
Upon further reflection on "conflict management" in our daily lives, I felt called by some keywords, to be always in dialogue, to respect, be welcoming, facing one’s own resistances, and not to judge.
In the exercises, it became apparent that in relationships and in different situations, we do more "evaluations of others" than "observations", and this strengthens greatly our judgmental attitudes, "Judge not lest you be judged”.
The participants appreciated and thanked Sisters Mariaelena Aceti and Anette Moltubakk who, with skill and dedication, led the work of these two days in a language that is not their mother tongue.
