In their group work on Friday, May 31, the European Councils began to look for new ways to increase links with one other, to create more possibilities for communion and collaboration. All of this is taking place at Bellecombette, many of our Sisters have been present, witnesses of a story about courage and resourcefulness for the Kingdom.
The morning prayer by the Sisters of the Danish province asked us to return to the source of life, that is, Jesus, together with the Samaritan woman at the well, to be capable of giving life to ourselves and to the dear neighbor.
Then we listened to each of the participants regarding their outlook when they arrived at this meeting. Sister Sally accompanied us and gave us some input to continue on this journey.
We ended the day with a mass celebrated by the Bishop of Chambéry, Monsignor Philippe Ballot, who then stayed for dinner with us. After dinner, we had a joyful party prepared by the young Indian Sisters in France to celebrate Sister Sally’s birthday.
