The Sisters of St. Joseph coordinating the four provinces of France/Belgium, Denmark, Italy and Norway, the region of Ireland and the mission in Sweden, begin to arrive for their third meeting. The goals of the meeting beginning May 31 and ending on June 4, in Chambéry, France, are to continue the reflection on new forms of organization, institutional structures and government. The different languages and cultural expressions are both a value and a challenge for the participants, who will have the help of translators to communicate. There are eight languages spoken by the Sisters, but they, in one way or another, will all strive to communicate in Italian, French or in English. Sister Sally Hodgdon, Superior General, and Sister Mariaelena Aceti, General Councilor, participate in this event with a lot of joy and hope that new steps will be taken in the process of integration that has already begun.
