In February of this year, two young Haitians, Djhoulise Métellus and Yolecie Auguste (of the St. Joseph Congregation of St. Vallier) celebrated their entrance into the novitiate. Friends, Associates and Sisters from various communities participated in this moment.

The celebration was led by Father Renato de Moura Petrocco, who recalled the importance of consecrated life in the world, for the life of the Church and society.

The expressions of the people, the event itself and the solemnity of the moment made the day happy and warm.

There were moments of profound gratitude articulated by the young women through their dreams of giving more in seeking to carry out the will of God. The joy of being received in Brazil by the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Chambéry was also expressed in this celebration by Sister Luiza Rodrigues, giving continuity to the formation process.

The community of the Novitiate is profoundly grateful to the Holy Trinity for these inspiring young women, who are willing and brave in following God\´s ways through the charism of communion.
