Now she is 83 and her health does not permit her to reach out as before. Still she is available at any part of the day or night. Isaiah 43:4-5, “You are precious in my sight, I love you. Do not fear, for I am with you” are her core experiences in life. Also she saw this preciousness in each patient especially in the labour room, conducting deliveries and in the operation theatres. In each new born babe she found God’s unique expression of love. Patients consider her as God’s special healing angel. Her smile and soothing presence brings solace to her patients.  

On December 03, 2018 Sister Herman celebrated her Diamond Jubilee. Her active, cheerful and life giving presence makes a lot of difference in the community at Ashta. The young sisters see her as a source of inspiration. Her message for all of us is “keep close to God, find time to be in his presence and the rest will be added to your life.”
