The Provincial Assembly, held in Rome from November 2 to 4, was intended to “evaluate" the journey of the Province, in view of a mission that is always more responsive to the needs of today. As the final document of the General Chapter of 2015 reminds us, the goal of the process then underway was and is to reduce the number of communities, by selling some large structures, as well as missioning sisters to strengthen existing projects and still meet today\´s needs on the one hand, and also to generate willingness in people for new projects in the peripheries of Italy and Europe in response to the calls of the General Council on the other.
The assistance of Sister Mariaelena Aceti, General Councilor, was much appreciated in collecting evaluation data that the Provincial Council wanted to assess as a main goal, since it is gathered from the "base", in order to revive the presence of communion in the entire Province of Italy.
