The Synod process includes each participant offering a four minute reflection on a topic from the Instrumentum Laboris. This is the work document prepared from the thoughts and discussions of youth as gleaned from thousands of questionnaires and participation in meetings, especially the Pre-Synod Session in March 2018.
For these three days we have attentively listened to each other. There is strong agreement that call is to listen to the Youth and to be more relational, as we try to better understand their experiences.
The conviction of each participant is very strong in what they are offering. The voices of the youth who are present are unique and appreciated. They are sought out by the members of the Synod for conversations during the breaks.
Tomorrow night in the large Paul VI Auditorium at 5:00, we, the Synod members, will gather to listen to hundreds of youth from around Europe.
